General Rules

1. We expect you to race others clean. No bumping drivers to gain positions, retaliatory wrecking of others for any reason, or at any time is not acceptable. Bumping on the front or back straights is acceptable, but be extremely careful as it can cause accidents, please use extreme caution.

2. Do not use the aprons to improve your position. The apron is no place for passing and is not to be used as one unless to avoid a wreck and only in these circumstances will it be justified.

3. No disrespectful conduct will be tolerated in any way. Be respectful to your fellow drivers. Discuss racing issues like adult people. Magnum Racing Team encourages you to race and chat with complete control, abusing or flaming others for any reason will not be tolerated.

4. Do not drive in the parking lane of pit row. We discouraged it because, problems can occur when drivers unexpectedly enter their pit stall and someone driving in this lane hits them at pit row speed. When you get into your car and leave the pits, you should drive the car immediately right into the pit traffic lane once the lane is clear of other cars.

5. If you were the cause of a wreck, or involved in the reason for it, it is good etiquette to apologize when it is first possible. Move your car to the apron, but only when the track is clear. Do not re-enter the track until your car is up to a speed, which can blend into traffic safely. If your car has received heavy damage, or is smoking, get it to the pits for repairs, call for a tow, or exit the race.

6. Tighten up the starting grid as soon as you possible can, (between .05 and 1.0 sec) but do this with caution, getting wrecked before the start of a race causes problems between drivers as well as frustrates the server administrators. Wrecking someone on the start before the green flag or start will not be tolerated.

7. Lapped cars must stay in the high lane when leaders approach, or high line of the grove in road courses. You are responsible for keeping track of the leaders with respect to your car. This can be accomplished with the cockpit pit board.

8. MRT does not restart a race unless there is a major server failure or intentional wreckers cause major havoc. In the event that this happens do not ask the administrator to eject you, or wreck others to be ejected. In the event this happens, it will be the choice of the administrator as to whether to restart the event. If the administrator restarts the event, he will take the server back to the warm-up session and eject the wreckers. Please do not ask the MRT race administrator for a race restart, as it is a distraction to those still racing.

9. Please keep race chat to a minimum. It is a major distraction to other drivers who are watching the chat messages looking for race information.

Yellow Flags Rules

1. Do not race back to the line unless there are less then ten laps remaining.  Please hold your position and line to allow for a clean crossing.  DO NOT BRAKE AT THE LINE!!!

2. Lift crossing the start/finish line and coast to the back straight, the pace car will catch up. We recommended that you stagger your car from the car in front of you to avoid an incident in the event of a rapid slow down.

3. Do not come to a complete stop waiting for the pace car to catch up. The drivers behind you will crash into you and my have problems stopping if they are trying to catch up.

Magnum Racing Team Server/Race Administrators

A MRT Administrator is a respected team member that has been entrusted to operate our races and servers. They have the right to make any judgment call, and their decision is final. We recommend that all drivers work out issues between themselves in a adult fashion, The MRT Administrator is not required to intervene unless it gets out of control. MRT will not tolerate arguments with a server administrator. Seasoned MRT administrators have trained newer administrators by having them observe a number of races before taking control of a server. Because of the trust that MRT has put in our administrators to carry out their job with fairness, a clean, respectful driver should feel comfortable knowing that they are safe from being ejected from our server.

Please keep in mind that your server administrator has donated his personal time to attempt to enhance an element of 'clean racing' that cannot be found in many other public racing servers.
